My name is Dana Killmeyer and I’m a creative writer living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. Six Gallery Press published my first novel, Paradise, or the part that dies, in the Summer of 2006 and Pendulums of Euphoria, in the Spring of 2009.
I created my username by combining the first 2 letters of my family, middle, and given name. Okay, it’s not extremely cleaver, but in Swahili it supposedly means – ” Woman who lives with a man without being married”. This is not the first thing that comes to mind when someone asks me to describe myself, but true nonetheless.
Here’s an interesting article titled “A typology of groups at risk of HIV/STI in a gold mining town in north-western Tanzania” from ScienceDirect that references Kimada as one of many identities a single woman may hold in the communities on Tanzania.
I’m curious to know what name you can create by combining the first 2 letter of your 3 (or more) names? Does it mean anything in another language? Or what story can you create about it?

San Joy
San Joy is a city named after Saint Joy, who, unlike St. Francis, Antonio, and some of those other saints, didn’t flagellate herself or fast in caves. Instead, the city, like the saint, is characterized by revelry, ebullience, and from time to time, even fun.

Thanks San. Can I call you San for short? You definitely bring an element of merriment to the group!
